Autism/ADHD, Functional Capacity (level reassessment)

At Moving Minds Psychology we offer comprehensive, neuroaffirming assessments for Autism, ADHD, or both. Our process is strengths-based, collaborative, and designed to help you better understand yourself — whether you're seeking answers for identity, clarity, support access, or formal documentation. You will have an answer as to a diagnosis within two weeks after your final assessment session, which will come with an optional feedback session.

 

Assessment Process

• Autism Assessments involve approximately 3 hours of interview time using the MIGDAS framework (a sensory-informed, affirming approach).

• ADHD Assessments involve around 2 hours of interview time, exploring attention, executive functioning, regulation, and more.

• A combined Autism + ADHD assessment generally requires 4 hours of interview time.

Psychometric Questionnaires

We use a range of evidence-based psychometrics (questionnaires), completed by both you and, where possible, someone who knows you well (like a parent, partner, or close friend). These tools help us build a full picture of your neurotype and experiences.

 

 

Outcome Options: Letter vs Report

After your assessment, you can choose from two outcome formats:

• Letter Option
  A brief confirmation of whether or not you meet the diagnostic criteria. This is a great option for those seeking clarity or needing written confirmation for work/study access without the cost of a full report.

• Comprehensive Report
  A detailed, in-depth report that includes:

  • Clinical history and presentation summary

  • Psychometric data and interpretation

  • Diagnostic formulation

  • Tailored recommendations for supports, strategies, and accommodations
    This option is ideal for those wanting a deeper understanding of how everything fits together, or needing documentation for NDIS or health providers.

 

 

Fees

Autism only:                                 Letter $1000    Full Report $1800

ADHD only:                                  Letter $800      Full Report $1400

Combined Autism + ADHD:      Letter $1200     Full Report $2400

Functional Capacity (Level reassessment):

Functional Capacity Assessment – $1200

We also offer Functional Capacity Assessments for those who:

• Need documentation for NDIS plan reviews

• Are applying for a change in support level

• Require a report outlining daily functioning, goals, and recommendations

This assessment is report-only and includes:

• A structured clinical interview

• Functioning overview across multiple domains (communication, social, learning, mobility, self-care, and self-management)

• Tailored recommendations for supports and interventions
